Subir Verma joins RP Sanjiv Goenka Group as director & CHRO

Earlier, Verma was associated with the Tata Group since the year 2011, when he joined its communications vertical as director-HR. The RP Sanjiv Goenka Group, the Indian conglomerate with a substantial global footprint, has roped in Subir Verma to be executive director & chief human resources officer (CHRO) for its power business. In this role, Verma will manage the company’s generation plants, distribution companies, mines and renewables business. Prior to joining the Sanjiv Goenka Group, Verma served as the head-HR for Tata Power’s Transmission and Distribution (T&D) cluster companies. Verma’s association with the Tata Group goes way back to the year 2011, when he joined its Communications vertical as director-HR. In this role, he managed the company’s Global Talent Excellence Centre (GTEC) for all regions (India, the Americas, Europe, MENA, APAC), while also handling talent acquisition for India and Sri Lanka. After serving in this role for over three years, he then moved to Tata Power as its head-HR & IR, in the year 2015In the year 2020, Verma moved to Tata DDL (A joint venture between Tata Power and the Government of NCT of Delhi) as it chief HR, IR, HS.

CK Birla gets Sandeep Gautam as head of corporate HR

Gautam has held leading positions in different industries for over 31 years, including manufacturing, green energy, cars, ceramics, engineering, and sales. Sandeep Gautam has been appointed as the group head of corporate human resources, CK Birla Group. The appointment is effective starting February 2024. With more than 31 years of experience, Gautam has played a crucial role in leading positions across various industries such as  manufacturing green energy, cars, ceramics, engineering, and sales. He has successfully  handled complicated HR projects and plans in his HR stints around the world. Gautam began his career in HR at Ester Industries in 1993 as a human resource executive. Later, he took on the role of HR department head at India Glycols for over six years. In 2001, he joined Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India as the head of HR, followed by a stint as human resources head at Somany Ceramics. He then served as assistant vice president of resources and people development at Laing O’Rourke for four years.

Aditya Birla Money gets Anju Jumde as head-HR & admin

Jumde has spent nearly nine years at Aditya Birla Group starting in 2015. Aditya Birla Money, an online stock-brokerage firm and a subsidiary of Aditya Birla Capital, has recently named Anju Jumde as its new head-HR & admin. She has spent nearly nine years at Aditya Birla Group starting, from 2015 to 2024. Given her over two decades of experience, Jumde brings a wealth of expertise to her new position. Prior to her tenure at Aditya Birla Group, she served with. Prior to her tenure at Aditya Birla Group, she served with several renowned organisations such as Royal Bank of Scotland, Citibank and Barclays. An alumna of XLRI, Jumde commenced her career with Citibank in 1997 as the head-Citiphone West Cards. This also marked the longest stint of her professional journey having spent over ten years with the bank. In 2007, Jumde moved to Barclays Private Bank as its head-call centre in India. In 2009 she was elevated to the role of head-training & employee engagement. Almost three years into this role at Barclays, Jumde joined Royal Bank of Scotland in the year 2012. She held the role of head- learning delivery for over three years and then moved to Aditya Birla Group in the year 2015.
