Michael J Vella, was able to conduct a session with over 50+ participants and HR specialization students of IESMCRC, on Monday, July 11th, 2022, in Webinar, from meeting from a computer, tablet or smartphone at Registration Link, https://youtu.be/Vl_OlydAmeU, on the topic, ‘Succession Planning’. 
Students shared the following main learnings. In the long term, succession planning strengthens the overall capability of the organization by: Identifying critical positions and highlighting potential vacancies; Selecting key competencies and skills necessary for business continuity; Focusing development of individuals to meet future business needs Succession planning is an important part of the talent management process. It provides a way to identify key roles, people with the right skills and positions that may need filling in a short space of time Learnings: • knowledge transfer and process refinement • long-term talent planning and retention

The 2nd Year PGDM (PM) and PGDM students are subject to various psychological tests, management games, and oral presentations and such other various exercises. They are asked questions and accordingly judged by the raters. On this Day of the Assessment Centre workshop, students in groups increased their self-awareness towards development, through the Personality profile analysis, Transactional Analysis and 7+ other psychometric tests. Dr. Mrs. Merlyn Michael D`souza presented participants on behalf of IESMCRC HR club HR Matrix, e-certificates and Assessment Centre analysis booklets (soft & hard copies).
