Amazon India promotes Amit Agarwal as Senior VP

Already Amazon India country head Amit Agarwal is elevated to the position of Senior Vice President. 
Amazon.com Inc. has promoted its current country manager and Vice President, Amit Agarwal to the position of Senior Vice- President, thereby associating him with a small team globally. 
Amit Aggarwal who was already inducted into S-team (senior –leadership team) in 2016 has bagged promotion within one year. Under it, he was reporting directly to Amazon founder and chief executive Jeff Bezos. 
He will continue to head India operations as senior vice-president. Amit has risen to company ranks steadfastly over the past 18 years. 
In May last year, Amazon India roped in Manish Tiwary as the Vice President of Category Management to strengthen its reach in its India business. Tiwary replaced Samir Kumar, vice-president of category management at Amazon India, who was moving back to Amazon’s headquarters in Seattle, US.

Lokesh Prasad new CEO of Conduent India

Lokesh Prasad will manage one of the two global research labs and will oversee second-largest employee base.
A leading business process services provider, Conduent India has appointed Lokesh Prasad as the new CEO of the company. In his new role, he would be creating India focused strategy and driving new internal policies, and also streamlining the organization through centralization of functions.
Prior to this, Prasad has worked as Head of Emerging Markets for UnitedHealth Group in Gurgaon, India, and was responsible for managing profit and loss (P&L) for India and the Middle East. During his tenure, he was successful in creating global source and delivery strategy for UnitedHealth Group. He was also instrumental in setting up their IT and BPO business in the US and Asia. Also, he has a decade experience of working with Infosys Technologies Limited.

Pervinder Johar new CEO of Edgeverve

Pervinder Johar to take charge of Edgeverve unit as the new CEO, as appointed by Infosys Ltd.
Edgeverve has appointed Pervinder Johar as the new CEO of the company. In his new role Pervinder will be responsible for boosting current business operations and will be generating more business from the monetizing platforms. 
EdgeVerve Systems is the wholly-owned subsidiary of Infosys Ltd, which offers cloud- hosted platforms by developing innovative software products. 
As per media report, the position is filled by Pervinder Johar after an year of abrupt exit of Michael Reh.  
In his prior role, Johar was CEO of Steelwedge Software Inc., which is a cloud-based supply-chain in US. Also, he has worked with Hewlett Packard Inc. and Fidelity Investments. Johar is a graduate from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee.
