Amid recent high-profile exits, cab aggregator Ola appoints new VP-HR and CFO

Ganesh Subramanian and Harish Abichandani are the new occupants of top positions in the company. 

Ola has appointed Ganesh Subramanian as vice president of its human resource department and Harish Abichandani as its chief financial officer (CFO).
In his 19 years of career, Subramanian has worked with only one company, Unilever.
After passing out of XLRI in 1998, he joined Unilever as management trainee. During this period, he moved to various roles within HR and to various places as well. His last position was director HR, enterprise and technology solutions. Sumbramanian also holds a degree in engineering from Bangalore University.
Prior to joining Ola, Abichandani worked for eKart as the chief financial officer, which is a logistic arm of Flipkart. He has also worked at Tata Teleservices as CFO.

Pradeep Chavda joins Sodexo India as human resources director

Chavda takes over from Mallika D’Souza, who has moved into a larger role in the Global Seniors Segment at Sodexo in the United States.
The food and facilities management solutions provider, Sodexo, has just appointed Pradeep Chavda as the new human resources director-India, effective August, 2017. Chavda takes over from Mallika D’Souza, who, after a successful stint of five years in India, has moved into a larger role in the Global Seniors Segment at Sodexo in the United States.
Chavda brings with him diverse HRD skillsets and capabilities, acquired from working with large-scale Indian MNCs, in both national and international environments for over 20 years. His most recent assignment, prior to joining Sodexo was with Bharti Airtel as the HR head for the Homes Business, managing a total workforce of over 7000 employees. He also has to his credit the global award from SuccessConnect, Australia, for adoption of the best talent management tool.

Madan Nagaldinne to join real estate tech Co. Compass

Exactly a year ago, Nagaldinne had moved on from Facebook to join a healthcare startup Context Media (Now Outcome Health) as chief people officer. Back then he had also shifted his base from New York to Chicago. HRKatha was the first publication worldwide to report this development.

Madan Nagaldinne, the former head of HR at Facebook and Amazon is all set to join a real estate technology company, Compass. He will take on his new responsibilities as the chief people officer on September 1.
Compass is a technology company building the operating system for real estate, an end-to-end platform that supports the entire buying and selling workflow. The company has been growing at rapid pace. In the last 12 months, it has not just doubled its workforce strength; the company is still on a hiring spree. Even now the company has nearly 100 open roles across its 30 offices across the US.
