Jayakumar David to lead Renault-Nissan Alliance as India HR Head

David will operate from the Chennai office. 

Renault-Nissan Alliance has appointed Jayakumar David as its India HR head. He will take charge on November 1.
David will also continue to play his previous role as vice president-HR, RNTBCI (Renault Nissan Technology and Business Centre India) in addition to the new role.
In his new position, he will be responsible for all HR operations for Renault-Nissan Alliance in India.
David’s vast experience in human resources includes a previous stint as head of human resources and associate vice-president of HR at Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages (HCCB) between November 2012 and August 2016.
From October 2004 to October 2012, he was head of HR at Siemens Information Systems. Between 1993 and 2004, he held different HR roles handling personnel, industrial relations, legal management, and so on, at companies, such as Kennametal India, Strides Arcolab and Shahi Exports.
A Bachelor of Arts from Bangalore University, David completed his postgraduation in human resource management from the University of Madras.
In his current role, he will operate from the Chennai office and will report to Sumit Sawhney, country CEO and managing director Renault India Operations and Thomas Kuehl, president Nissan India Operations, with functional reporting to Dominique Dumoulin, Alliance global HR director, Africa-Middle East-India (AMI) region.

Tanvi Choksi moves from J&J to JLL as HR head and director

Choksi has moved to JLL after spending a decade at Johnson & Johnson.
Tanvi Choksi has joined Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) India as HR head and director. She moved from Johnson & Johnson where she was HR director. The position at JLL was lying vacant after Sukhdeep Aurora quit to join ANAROCK as chief people officer.
She will be based out of Mumbai and manage the entire south Asian region including India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Mauritius.

Her immediate mandate is to create a people strategy for JLL India in line with business requirements and enabling the continued growth of the business in double digits.

“JLL is embarking on a journey of HR Transformation, my role will be to lead this for India and create a strong HR team,” shares Choksi.

She believes the challenge in her new role will be to build a robust talent pipeline in the real estate industry, creating best in class HR practices for the industry.hoksi joined Johnson & Johnson in August 2007 as HR manager, but quickly rose up the ranks.  In March 2016, she was elevated as HR director- J&J Medical India & Asia Pacific Diabetes Care.

TVS Motor appoints K Gopala Desikan as Group CFO

He succeeds S.G. Murali who retired from his services with the Company in September 2017 after 15 years.

TVS Motor Company, a leading manufacturer of two-wheelers and three-wheelers in the world, has appointed Mr. K. Gopala Desikan as the Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of TVS Motor Company Limited and its group Companies at its Board Meeting.
Desikan, held the position of Executive Vice President (Finance) of Sundaram-Clayton Limited, prior to taking on this assignment. He succeeds S.G. Murali who retired from his services with the Company in September 2017 after 15 years.
