Sandeep Banerjee moved from Reliance to H&R Johnson as head-HR

Banerjee will lead the HR agenda for H & R Johnson during its transformation journey, align it with the business strategy and help it grow further. 
Sandeep Banerjee, vice president-HR, Reliance Industries, has moved to the tiles company H&R Johnson, a division of Prism, as head-HR and senior vice president.
H & R Johnson is on a transformation journey, and Banerjee will lead its HR agenda, aligning it with the business strategy, helping it grow further.
With more than 23 years of professional experience in end to end HR, Banerjee has worked with large MNCs and Indian conglomerates across service and manufacturing.
Joining a mid-size company will offer him huge scope of work and empowerment to transform.
His objective is to establish strong people practices, which are aligned to the business and also ensure that HR acts as a facilitator for business, meaningfully contributing to the bottom line as well.
An alumnus of the National Institute of Personnel Management, Banerjee started his career with the Swedish company, ESAB, as assistant manager-HR in 1994. In 1996, he moved to Electrosteel Castings as personnel manager and spent a good five years with the company. In 2001, Banerjee moved to a Dutch pharma company, Organon, as employee relations manager.

Sonali Ramaiah to lead Treebo Hotels as head of people

Ramaiah has 16 years of experience in HR and was the senior HR executive at Boeing in her last stint.
Treebo Hotels, the third largest hotel chain in India, has appointed Sonali Ramaiah as its head of people. She will lead all people initiatives for Treebo and will work with the leadership team to further strengthen the culture at the Company and make it a preferred employer.
Sonali has 16 years of experience in human resources and has served in several companies in various HR positions. Prior to joining Treebo, she worked at Boeing as the senior HR executive, where she was responsible for building the defense and IT teams.  
A graduate from the Xavier Institute of Management & Entrepreneurship, Sonali started her career as a journalist in 1997, at the Deccan Herald Media Company and then joined TVA Infotech in 1998 as business manager. In 2004, she joined Decathlon as the Human Resources Manager.
In 2006, she joined Fidelity Investments as assistant manager-talent development, where she worked as performance consultant to the business analytics division, enterprise services, and operations functions.
From August 2010 to July 2014, she worked at Philips Healthcare as senior manager-human resources, where she was responsible for conceptualising and delivering the people agenda for the leadership team of Philips Innovation Campus.
Between July 2014 and October 2016, she worked at Cisco as India HR Lead for the Advanced Services business of over 1000 employees.
Over the years, she worked in areas, such as organisation development, culture change, building leadership competence and driving employee engagement.

Pragya Kumar appointed chief people officer of GirnarSoft

Kumar has over 15 years of experience in HR, and has worked with companies, such as SAIL, Mentor Graphics India Pvt Ltd and iBilt Technologies.
GirnarSoft has appointed Pragya Kumar as its chief people officer. The position was temporarily held by Ankur Agrawal, the business head of the Company’s insurance unit.
With this appointment, the Company has plans to add management structures, so as to accommodate the increasing workforce, through its acquisitions and expansion efforts. It also plans to work towards building cultural values in the organisation.
Kumar is a proficient HR professional with over 15 years of experience in HR. Prior to joining GirnarSoft, she had been working at Yatra.com for almost seven years, before quitting as the head of human resources.
She has also worked at companies, such as Mentor Graphics India Pvt. Ltd, iBilt Technologies, SAIL and Dorling Kindersley.
An alumna of Delhi School of Economics, Kumar has a master’s in human resources from Delhi University.
GirnarSoft is a company which operates automobile portals, such as CarDekho, Gaadi and Zigwheels. The Company is backed by Google Capital and has a total headcount of 2000 employees.
