Schneider Electric elevates Binu Philip as CHRO for Greater India Zone

 

Philip has managed senior HR leadership roles in organisations such as Microsoft Corporation, Aditya Birla Group (Idea Cellular) and RPG Enterprises. Schneider Electric has elevated Binu Philip as the new Zone VP HR (CHRO) for Greater India. Philip will step into the shoes of Rachna Mukherjee, who has superannuated after spending eight successful years at the Company. Philip has been a part of Schneider Electric for the last seven years. At Schneider, he is well known for spearheading critical projects such as the merger and acquisition of the L&T Electrical Automation business with Schneider Electric.

Sushil Baveja joins Jindal Stainless as CHRO

Baveja comes with over three decades of experience. In the past he has worked for companies such as Nokia, DCM Shriram, Dalmia Industries, Cadbury’s India and Gillette India. Sushil Baveja, who retired from DCM Shriram on October 31, 2021, has got a new role. He has joined Jindal Stainless as CHRO. Baveja worked with DCM for around 18 years. At Jindal Stainless, Baveja will be responsible for driving people strategy, enhancing workplace culture, strengthening talent management, and enriching the organisation’s growth. In an official communique sent exclusively to HRKatha, Abhyuday Jindal, managing director, Jindal Stainless says, “In today’s competitive landscape, great organisations are distinguished by their culture, leadership, and values. Our organisation is differentiated by its focus on customer satisfaction, creativity and innovation, and learning agility. 3. Former Nykaa CHRO is now CPO at SUGAR Cosmetics

Nirav Jagad has joined the Indian beauty brand to lead its people-first agenda. SUGAR Cosmetics, the Indian beauty brand, has appointed Nirav Jagad as chief people officer (CPO). With over 19 years of experience, Jagad was a startup advisor for a while, after working with LEAD School as CHRO for eight months. Jagad was associated with Nykaa for over three years, as chief human resources officer (CHRO). In the initial years of his career, Jagad was associated with Welingkar Institute of Management as core faculty for two years. He then served as manager at Emmay HR Services for two years, before joining EmmayHR, a Randstad company, as senior manager – learning and development, in 2007. From 2009 to 2012, he worked as senior consultant at Cerebrus Consultants, looking into organisation restructuring, organisation design, leadership development plan, competency and skills matrices, and performance management system among other aspects of HR.
