Klaus Goersch is Air India’s EVP & COO

In this role, Goersch will supervise cabin crew functions along with flight operations, engineering, ground operations and integrated operations control (IOCC). Capt. Klaush Goersch has been appointed to the newly-created role of executive vice president (EVP) and chief operations officer(COO), Air India. In this assignment, Goersch will supervise and head flight operations, engineering, ground operations, integrated operations control (IOCC) and cabin crew functions. He will report directly to the CEO. An alumnus of Harvard Business School and a licensed B777/787 pilot, Goersch served as EVP – operations and customer service at AirTran Airways for over 16 years, from 1996 to 2012. In 2015, he moved to SITA, as a member of the board of directors, based out of Geneva, Switzerland. He joined Air Canada as EVP and COO in 2012. This role saw him working out of Toronto, Canada for over four years. The period 2019 to 2020 saw him as a member of the board of directors, IAG Cargo, London.

Magic Bus India gets Madhulika Singh as CHRO

Singh was earlier associated with WNS as general manager-HR. Magic Bus India Foundation, a non-profit organisation in the education and skilling space, has appointed Madhulika Singh as its new chief human resources officer (CHRO). In her new role, Singh will spearhead the gamut of human resource functions at Magic Bus, and also lead the development and implementation of the organisation’s human resource strategy. Singh brings with her over two decades of experience in HR, spanning diverse industries such as ITES, financial services, startups, as well as manufacturing and development.

Ravi Rangaraju elevated to director – regional HR India, Thomson Reuters

He has been with Thomson Reuters since 2007, when he joined as HRBP – India group functions. After over 16 years with Thomson Reuters, Ravi Rangaraju has been elevated to the position of director – regional HR India. This role will see Rangaraju. working out of Bengaluru, just as he had been in his last role as senior human resources manager, HRBP leader for technology at the global news firm. An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Indore, Rangaraju is a graduate in electronics and communications engineering from RV College of Engineering. Armed with a PGDBM in human resource management from Wigan and Leigh College, UK, Rangaraju began his association with HR as an intern-executive search, HumanCapital Consulting, in 2004.
