Bhargavi Divi is senior director – talent acquisition, SMC Squared India

Divi moves from DAZN, where she was head of talent acquisition. Bhargavi Divi has been appointed senior director-talent acquisition, SMC Squared India. She moves from DAZN, the global sports streaming platform, where she was head of talent acquisition since December 2022. An alumna of the Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science, this engineering graduate began her human resource journey with Mascon Global, where she worked as lead-recruiter for over five years, from 2005 to 2010, based out of Hyderabad. In March 2010, she moved to Bengaluru, to join Canary’s Automation as senior talent-acquisition specialist. After a three-year break to fulfil family commitments, she was back in the mainstream, as talent-acquisition manager, Tech Connect Consulting, from 2015 to 2018.

Netradyne elevates Pooja Madappa to SVP- global HR

Madappa initially joined Netradyne in 2022 as the vice president-HR. US and Bengaluru-based Netradyne, has promoted Pooja Madappa to the position of senior vice president- global human resources. The company specialises in artificial intelligence (AI) and edge computing with a focus on driver and fleet safety. Prior to her role with Netradyne, Madappa was associated with Schneider Electric as general manager-HR. Madappa initially joined Netradyne in 2022 as the vice president-HR. In March 2023, she was then elevated to the role of global vice president-human resources. Backed by 18 years of experience in HR, Madappa has worked with two major multinational companies, including Schneider Electric India and INTEL.

IHG Hotels & Resorts welcomes Jacob John Paul as HR director

Jacob, previously director of human resources at Crowne Plaza, Chennai, is well-known within IHG Hotels and Resorts for his leadership and people strategies. Jacob John Paul has been appointed as the human resources director at InterContinental Hotels Group’s (IHG Hotels and Resorts) Chennai Mahabalipuram Resort, thanks to the ‘Room to Grow’ initiative. IHG Hotels and Resorts, formerly known as InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), is a multinational hospitality corporation based in Windsor, Berkshire, England. Paul began his career in 2014 as an HR executive at Novotel Chennai Sipcot. He then worked at InterContinental Hotels Group as an assistant manager, human resources, in 2018. In 2019, he joined Radisson Blu as an HR executive, where he stayed for 12 years.
