Guest Lecture-2 - Wisdom Learning Series (HR Club Activity)

1. Mr. Sanjeev Parkar, Sr. Director, Human Capital, PricewaterwouseCoopers, was able to communicate fine with 10 students of MMS, 1^st Year, Batch 2016-18, MMS, 2^nd Year, Batch 2015-17, on Wednesday, 25^th January 2017 in Class Room 501, 5^th Floor, on the topic, ‘Trends in HR’.

2.      He shared his 21+ years of experience highlighting the various ‘Trends in HR’.

3.      He explained terms like

a.       ‘Artificial Intelligence in HR’,

b.      ‘Predictive analytics’,

c.       ‘Forensic identification techniques in HR’,

d.      ‘Technology disrupting HR’,

e.       ‘Recruitment with vision basis’,

f.       ‘Salary hikes in India’,

g.      ‘Uber-isation of manpower’,

h.      ‘HR diversity issues in India’,

i.        ‘Work inclusion in terms of work-from-home etc.’,

j.        ‘Accelerated career paths’,

k.      ‘Rapid urbanisation’,

l.        ‘HR care factor,’, and

m.    ‘Frigonomics in HR predictive analysis’.

On the whole, the session was informative and there was a good conversation with details exchanged by students and the Guest Speaker.
