Guest Lecture-1 - Wisdom Learning Series (HR Club Activity)

1. Ms. Kim Menezes, HR Functional Consultant, Tata Consultancy Services, was able to relate well with 10 students of HR Specialisation – (MMS, 1^st Year, Batch 2016-18, MMS, 2^nd Year, Batch 2015-17), on Wednesday, 18^th January 2017 in Class Room 202, 2^nd Floor, on the topic, ‘Career development options in HR’. 
2. She shared her 10+ years of experience right from scratch and how she became well-oriented in her current role. 
3. She gave numerous insights of companies other than TCS like netfilx also along with her client companies knowledge sharing. 
4. Different variations in designing leave policies and appraisal techniques used by TCS in the past were shared. 
5. She explained terms in HR with reference to trends like crowdsourcing. She explained how employees stay engaged at TCS through, ‘KnowMe’, which is an equivalent of Facebook. 
6. She discussed recent trends like gamification of HR processes of recruitment and onboarding. 
7. On the whole, the session was collaborative and there was a good interchange of information.
