Sanjay Jha joins board of directors of Smartron India
Smartron, a technology firm inducts Sanjay Jha to its board,
who is former chairman and CEO of Motorola.
Sanjay Jha, former chairman and CEO of Motorola mobility has joined the board of directors of Smartron India, a technology firm. Besides being an investor himself, Sanjay will be an independent director with Smartron.
With his immense experience and knowledge, Jha will help in accelerating company’s growth by building India’s first global OEM brand, which will bring competition to existing global brands.
He was currently working with US-based GlobalFoundries as CEO and also has been associated as COO with chipmaker Qualcomm.

KPMG International appoints
William B Thomas as Chairman
The 49-year old William was the Chairman of KPMGs American
region since 2014 and has been a member of the Global Board since 2009.
KPMG International
has elected William B Thomas as its new Chairman. His role would encompass the
entire KPMG global network of professional services firms for a tenure of 4
years effective October 1, 2017. He will succeed John B Veihmeyer whose term as

IBM India appoints Kanisha Raina as the Talent leader
Kanisha Raina is appointed as Talent Leader for IBM India/
South Asia.
IBM India has appointed Kanisha Raina as
Talent leader for IBM India and South Asia. In her new role, she would be
exploring new areas of talent management and engagement that company needs to
focus upon.
She is a veteran in the field of HR with
around 10 years of experience. She had done multiple roles across businesses,
especially in two industries - IT and Finance.
In her prior role,
she has held varied eminent positions in IBM including Global Talent Partner –
Research and the position of communication and learning specialist.
