| Comments : Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), USA facilitated this on-demand webinar. Aaron Hurst is the CEO and co-founder of Imperative, a peer coaching platform that helps businesses lead virtual teams, care for their people and be resilient in the face of constant change. Newsweek, MIT Sloan Management Review and strategy + business are among the sites that have published his thought leadership about the steps businesses need to take as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Extensive research has been done into the effects of the 9/11 terrorist attacks and the Great Recession on workers and what people look for in their professional lives. In each case, many highly skilled workers found that their values and priorities were realigning, and their attitudes evolving. Some of these changes involved a newfound desire for purpose. Others were more surprising, such as the finding that negative emotions associated with a crisis might actually lead to more positive job satisfaction. What do businesses need to know? This webinar provided the answers. | |
