Ventures appoints Pooja Tiwari as chief people officer
Join
Ventures, a company which owns several D2C platforms such as IGP.com,
Interflora India, IGP for Business and Masqa, has recently appointed Pooja
Tiwari as their head of people and culture, designated as Chief People Officer.
Tiwari has a wealth of experience in HR, having worked with Nykaa as AVP –
people & culture for the past four years. During this time, she played a
crucial role in maintaining a talent pipeline for all future business needs,
and also conceptualised and implemented several new people initiatives, in
addition to providing advice and support to line managers and function heads Tarun
Joshi, CEO & Founder of Join Ventures, expressed his enthusiasm at the new
hire and praised Tiwari’s strategic vision and expertise which would enable the
company to continue outstanding results and provide a supportive environment
for their employees to thrive.

Pepperfry
elevates Joee De Choudhury as new lead of HR
After
being a crucial part of the company's talent acquisition drive, Choudhury has
been promoted to lead of HR during her second stint for the organisation.
Pepperfry, one of India’s largest e-commerce for home goods has appointed Joee
De Choudhury as its new lead for human resources. Choudhury started her career
at Pepperfry as an associate – HR in January 2015 and left within a year. In
2020, as part of her second stint at the company, she was appointed as an
assistant manager for HR and has since been an integral part of the talent
acquisition agenda of the organisation that has in turn led her to her new role
as lead HR.

brings on board Vijay Kumar Jamwal as head, HR
Jamwal
has worked with organisations such as HT Media, Citigroup, GlobalLogic, Impetus
and Gartner. Biz2X, a subsidiary of Biz2Credit based in India and the provider
of Digital Lending SaaS technology, appoints Vijay Kumar Jamwal as its new head
of HR. With a rich experience of 18 years, Jamwal has varied HR leadership
experience in industries including information technology, banking, finance,
media, education, real estate, research and advisory, and consulting. He is
also known for his people-centric approach in developing and expanding
organisations. Prior to joining Biz2X, Jamwal has worked with
organisations such as HT Media, Citigroup, GlobalLogic, Impetus and Gartner He
has also provided consulting services to startups, aiding them in constructing
HR infrastructure for growth and strengthening leadership skills throughout the
organisation.
