Dubey

Limited (BPCL) has announced the appointment of Raj Kumar Dubey as director
(human resources). An alumnus of NIT Allahabad, Dubey is backed by over
three decades of industry experience in, business and human capital development.
Dubey, who joined IOCL in 2001 as senior manager (HRD), had been leading
training and development till recently as chief manager (T&D). He also
holds a degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s degree in
business administration from the International Centre for Promotion of
Enterprises, Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Mohapatra’s
extension denied, Choudhury to be director – HR, Indian Oil
Ranjan
Mohapatra’s tenure had come to an end in February 2023, but he was to continue
in the post till further orders from the Government. Earlier, in
February 2023, Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) had stated in a regulatory filing
that Ranjan Kumar Mohapatra would continue as director (HR) until further
orders were received from the Government. His five-year tenure as director had
ended in February, but he was to continue till “further advice or communication
from the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoP&NG)”. However,
the Government has now denied the eight-month extension to Mohapatra. Instead,
Sujoy Choudhury, director (planning & business development), Indian Oil,
will take on additional charge of director – HR.

Manish
Patil joins as ONGC Director (Human Resource)
Prior
to joining ONGC, Patil has worked with IndianOil, a downstream Maharatna and
Fortune 500 energy company. Energy Maharatna Oil and Natural Gas Corporation
(ONGC) has named Manish Patil as its new director of HR. Patil is a
seasoned HR professional with a career spanning over three decades in energy.
He has held many key positions in various functions like operations and
supplies, information systems, and management services related to human
resources.
