Sharmila Sherikar is now Sr VP & head – corp. dev. Sonata Software

She comes with three decades of experience in HR. Sharmila Sherikar has joined Sonata Software as the senior VP and head of corporate development. She comes with extensive experience of 30 years. Sherikar embarked on her career journey in 1994 as a senior manager, human resources, Citigroup Overseas Software, where she worked for six years. Following her tenure at Citigroup, she assumed the role of head of human resources, Silverline. However, her most extensive and impactful tenure spanned an impressive 19 years at Virtusa, where she initially served as the head of human resources for the Americas and later rose to the position of senior vice president HR. With over three decades of industry experience, Sherikar brings a wealth of expertise in change management and corporate development programmes to Sonata, a company that specialises in modernisation engineering.

Mitalee Dabral appointed country HR leader, Wayfair

Dabral was formerly vice president –HR, ShareChat. Mitalee Dabral, former vice president – HR, ShareChat, has joined Wayfair, the e-commerce company, as country HR leader. An alumna of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Dabral served as manager – HR, Patni Computers in the initial years of her career, for over six years. As HR generalist, she took care of employee development, HR operation functions at Bangalore. In 2010, she moved to Infosys Technologies, as unit HR manager for almost two and a half years. Her next stop was Accenture, where she joined as AVP – HR, leading HR service delivery for India corporate functions for almost three years , based out of Bengaluru. In 2015, she moved to Ola, as director – HR business partner. For the next three years, she was HR business partner for Olacare, corporate functions and cab operations ROI. She successfully drove performance management, total rewards management, employee-engagement activities, compliance and policy matters. From 2018 to 2019 , she served as global head – human resources, AXISCADES, based out of Bengaluru. It was in 2020 that she joined ShareChat as VP – HR.

 

3. Gautam Srivastava joins The Phoenix Mills as director & head – HR.

Srivastava brings 20+ years of experience in hospitality, ITeS, banking and insurance, starting as an operations management trainee at ITC Hotels. Gautam Srivastava has been appointed as the director and head of HR, The Phoenix Mills. Srivastava has moved from Leela Palaces Hotels and Resorts, where he served as the vice president of corporate HR. Before joining The Leela, Srivastava held the position of vice president and head of talent management, performance, and rewards at HDFC ERGO General Insurance. He has spent close to a decade in the insurance industry and successfully led the transformation of key HR processes: HR digitalisation. (performance management system, reward and recognition, human resource management system, wellness), organisation talent review and talent development. He has also successfully led the harmonisation of HR processes, policies and culture during mergers and acquisitions.
