Generali India promotes Akshaya Kashyap as CPO
Kashyap
will replace Sunil Wariar, who retired from his job in September this year.
Future Generali India Insurance (FGII), has promoted Akshaya Kashyap to the
role of chief people officer (CPO), effective 1 October, 2023. Kashyap
will take over from Sunil Wariar, who superannuated from service in September
this year. Kashyap has been a part of the company over almost a decade
as its senior vice president-human resources. With a career spanning
over two decades, Kashyap comes with rich and diverse experience in the human
resource (HR) domain.

Lalit Kar
elevated as senior VP – workforce management at Reliance Retail
Kar
had been head – HR (senior VP), Reliance Digital Retail for over 4 years before
this. Lalit Kar has been elevated as senior VP–workforce
management, Reliance Retail. He has spent almost a decade at Reliance
Retail; from 2005 to 2010 as vice president and head –
HR, Reliance Digital Retail. After that Kar was SVP and head –
HR, Reliance Digital, from 2019 onwards. At the time, that stint was Kar’s
second one at Reliance Digital as he had moved to Mumbai International
Airport as VP & head-HR for more than three and a half years after serving
at Reliance Digital from 2010 to 2015. Kar, who began his professional
journey as a personnel officer with Orissa Industries, in 1989, was based out
of Rourkela from 1989 to 1992.

Samidha Mohanty is CHRO,
Oasis Fertility
She
moves from _VOIS where she was VP – HR senior (lead) business partner technology.
After a successful tenure of over six years at _VOIS, Samidha Mohanty has
joined Oasis Fertility as chief human resources officer (CHRO). Mohanty,
an alumna of the Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, began her
professional journey with ICICI Prudential, where she joined as unit manager –
sales and development in 2003. A year later, she moved to Infosys BPO as
HR specialist – business HR. In 2007, she came to be associated with Intel as
manager – employee and career development. Two years into this role, she
was elevated to manager – learning and development, Asia Pacific (sales and
marketing). By 2009, she had become the manager – career development, Greater
Asia region.
