to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical industry demands,
offering a comprehensive view across various disciplines within the network.

Vedanta Aluminium to
upgrade skills of 3,500 youth over 3 years
The
aluminimum manufacturer’s skill-training centres at Lanjigarh and Bhawanipatna
offer training courses for jobs in the areas of food and beverage, hospitality
and electrical maintenance. As part of its skilling programmes in Odisha,
Vedanta Aluminium aims to upgrade the skills of 3,500 youth over the next three
years, in partnership with OSDA and NABARD, around its alumina refinery
operations in Lanjigarh in Kalahandi district (Odisha). The Indian producer of
aluminium has announced the expansion of its skill-development initiatives
across its locations on the occasion of World Youth Skills Day.

Saksham Yuva Scheme will employ 5,000 youth
The scheme is in alignment with the Mission 60,000 aimed at employing
