Siddhartha Gupta to lead Mercer India as president; Arvind Laddha moves on

Gupta has been CEO of Mercer Mettle for over 5 years now, having been elevated after almost 3 years as chief revenue officer. Siddhartha Gupta has stepped into the shoes of Arvind Laddha as the president of Mercer India. Till now, Gupta was chief executive officer, Mercer| Mettl. n alumnus of Xavier Institute of Management (XIM) Bhubaneswar, Gupta also holds a postgraduate diploma in marketing management from the Times School of Marketing, and began his professional journey with Compaq Computers. After a year there as executive assistant to the managing director, he was witness to the acquisition of the company by Hewlett Packard (HP). Thereafter, he became account manager at HP, having moved into the southern regional sales team, operating out of Bengaluru.

Tasty Bite Eatables ropes in Vidhu Arora as CHRO

Arora moves from Gap Inc. where her tenure lasted more than 8 years. After a successful eight-year long association with Gap Inc., Vidhu Arora has joined Tasty Bite Eatables as chief human resources officer (CHRO). Arora, an alumna of Amity University from where she completed an MBA in human resources, spent six years with PepsiCo in the initial stages of her career. She started off as a human resource consultant on contract, and two years later joined the company full time, as assistant manager-organisation capability and communication, in 2011. By 2013, she was elevated to unit HR manager-PHHP, UP. Less than two years later, she was again promoted, achieving the position of transformation manager, working on organisational restructuring and design.

Volvo’s Amit Sharma joins Gokaldas Exports as CHRO

In his previous role at Volvo, Sharma was pivotal in providing strategic HR leadership to the Volvo Group in India across legal entities. Amit Sharma, former vice president and head-HR, Volvo Group, India, has joined Gokaldas Exports as its new chief human resources officer. In this new role, Sharma wil drive the business across the globe for Gokaldas Exports and the group companies. He will also play a pivotal role in shaping and streamlining the HR function and ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
