Michael J Vella, was able to conduct a session with over 50+ participants and HR specialization students of IESMCRC, on Monday, July 11th, 2022, in Webinar, from meeting from a computer, tablet or smartphone at Registration Link, https://youtu.be/Vl_OlydAmeU, on the topic, ‘Succession Planning’. 
Students shared the following main learnings. In the long term, succession planning strengthens the overall capability of the organization by: Identifying critical positions and highlighting potential vacancies; Selecting key competencies and skills necessary for business continuity; Focusing development of individuals to meet future business needs Succession planning is an important part of the talent management process. It provides a way to identify key roles, people with the right skills and positions that may need filling in a short space of time Learnings: • knowledge transfer and process refinement • long-term talent planning and retention

The 2nd Year PGDM (PM) and PGDM students are subject to various psychological tests, management games, and oral presentations and such other various exercises. They are asked questions and accordingly judged by the raters. On this Day of the Assessment Centre workshop, students in groups increased their self-awareness towards development, through the Personality profile analysis, Transactional Analysis and 7+ other psychometric tests. Dr. Mrs. Merlyn Michael D`souza presented participants on behalf of IESMCRC HR club HR Matrix, e-certificates and Assessment Centre analysis booklets (soft & hard copies).

An exhaustive coverage through the medium of a debate on "Leaders like RK Talwar are made not born" . It covered interesting insights on our past historians, leaders and management gurus and threw light on the process of leadership formation. Students delved on Leadership personality through the time from birth till the experiences around them. Bombay Management Association`s episode on RK Talwar, encouraged the burgeoning young managers of tomorrow to realise the importance of honesty in a business parlance and also the struggle through which leaders grow through right from birth till fame. The 15 PGDM-C students created positive leadership vibes amongst each other with Dr Mrs Merlyn Michael Dsouza, at the helm of the discussions.

PGDM-B 9 students enacted a roleplay depicting the honesty of Mr RK Talwar when faced with the dire consequences of refusing a tall order by the then Prime-Minister, Mrs. Indira Gandhi.
The webinar was premiered by Bombay Management Association online and the students of IESMCRC were encouraged to emulate their management buddies from another premier Management Institute and foster the values of renowned SBI Former Chairman Mr. R. K. Talwar. An ode of thanks to this leading management guru well given!
