Vipul Dave takes charge as VP-HR at Jindal Poly Films

With this appointment, Dave moves back to the plastic manufacturing and packaging industry. Jindal Poly Films, a part of BC Jindal Group, has roped in Vipul Dave as the VP-HR. In this role, he will lead the HR for BC Jindal’s plastic manufacturing unit. With more than two decades of experience in HR, Dave moves to Jindal Poly Films from Liberty Steel Group, a steel manufacturing firm headquartered in the UK, where he served as the CHRO for close to two years. Dave has spent a significant chunk of his two-decade long career in the manufacturing sector for known brands around the world. In the initial stage of his career, Dave worked with JK Paper as assistant manager – HR for almost three years and spent more than four years with Reliance Industries honing his skills in HR. It was in 2006 that he joined Oracle as the head of HR for PeopleSoft, the HR solutions business of Oracle.

Coca Cola names Karan Bhalla as HR director – Eurasia & Middle East

Bhalla has worked across multiple sectors in his 17-year long career, from IT, technology and consulting to food and beverages. Karan Bhalla has taken charge as the new HR director for Eurasia and Middle East at The Coca Cola Company. Bhalla joins Coca Cola from Americana Foods, a food and beverages firm in the Middle East. He worked with Americana Foods for more than a year as its HR director – talent, rewards and culture. In his new assignment at Coca Cola, Bhalla will be based out of Dubai in UAE. After working for more than 16 years in India with big brands, Bhalla moved to Dubai when he joined Americana Foods. After completing an MBA in HR from Institute Of Management and Technology (IMT), Bhalla started his career in the IT and tech industry.

WOW Skin Science ropes in Smriti Khanna as VP-HR

Khanna is an alumna of XLRI. WOW Skin Science, a direct to consumer brand in the beauty and wellness products space has appointed Smriti Khanna as its new VP-HR. In this role, Khanna will lead the HR function for the Company, which will include responsibilities such as devising people strategies, strengthening WOW’s organisational culture, employer branding, performance and people development. Khanna comes with close to nine years of experience in HR. She is a young HR leader and an alumna of XLRI. After completing her post graduate diploma in HR, Khanna started her career with Airtel.
